Last night we spoke with Jeff Miller (@dashofinsight) who is a long time economic and finance blogger at A Dash of Insight on StockTwits TV.  We talked about the importance of having a framework for viewing the stock market.  Jeff highlights a system that incorporates valuations, financial risk and economic trends.  While the the macro picture is important we also discussed the importance of building a portfolio up from the bottom up and the need to dispassionately look at stocks.  In conclusion we noted the importance of leaving your political beliefs at the door when trading.  You can view the video in its entirety below:
