Not only does the Autumn represent the return of football. It also represents high season for financial conferences as well. This Autumn I am going to be involved in two conferences. One in its fifth year of existence, the other in its first year. Luckily for you both conferences are running early bird specials for attendees who sign up in the next week or so.
On October 13-15 the 5th annual Stocktoberfest will take place at the Hotel Del Coronado in sunny Coronado, California. This year StockTwits is putting on Stocktoberfest in conjunction with The Alpha Pages, publisher of Modern Trader magazine. On November 15th in New York City, Ritholtz Wealth Management in conjunction with IMN is putting on the first annual Evidence-Based Investing Conference. The list of confirmed speakers is impressive and should make for an action-packed day. It will be fun to rub shoulders with like-minded investors and the entire RWM crowd.
