We here at Abnormal Returns HQ have come into possession of five brand new copies of Abnormal Returns: Winning Strategies from the Frontlines of the Investment Blogosphere. Which according to Ben Carlson at A Wealth of Common Sense was one of the “best books I’ve read in 2013.” So we wanted to share this windfall with our readers this holiday season. In that light we are doing things a little bit different this time around.

We don’t typically ask for something in return for our book giveaways. This time we are going to ask the five lucky recipients of the book to pay forward their good fortune. For example, pay for the customer’s drink behind in line at Starbucks, put a few dollars in the Salvation Army bucket at the grocery store or something else that feels right. That’s it. Pretty simple.

Send an e-mail to tadas–at–abnormalreturns–dot–com expressing your interest by 1:00PM Eastern time tomorrow, Thursday, December 12th with “Holiday book giveaway” in the Subject line.* And be thinking of your small act of kindness. We will contact the winners promptly via e-mail with additional details so please be on the look out. Thanks and good luck!

*US mailing addresses only. Sorry international readers. We will delete all e-mails upon the completion of this contest.

**The giveaway is now closed. Winners will be contacted post-haste.
