I know, I know. You are already sick of Black Friday this and Cyber Monday that. There are however a handful of deals that are simply too good to pass up. (As always any purchases you make through any of our links to Amazon will generate a small fee for Abnormal Returns). For example, Patagonia is donating 100% of their Black Friday sales to local environmental groups. The following are products that we use and can endorse. No fluff here. So check out these deals before they evaporate.

Book deals

Enter the code “HOLIDAYBOOK” at Amazon checkout and get $10 off $25 of book purchases. For example you can order the widely anticipated new book from Michael Lewis, The Undoing Project: A Friendship that Changed Our Minds. Or you could order The Man Who Knew: The Life and Times of Alan Greenspan by Sebastian Mallaby which was the 2016 winner of the Financial Times and McKinsey Business Book of the Year award.

Kindles

All of Amazon’s Kindles are on sale right now. I would point out that the Kindle Fire 7″ Tablet is on sale for $33.33. If your family needs another tablet to surf the web, look up recipes or watch a show. This is an easy. Just remember to pay for some additional memory to make it more usable.

Sonos

Sonos products rarely go on sale. However right now you can get a Sonos PLAY:1 Compact Wireless Speaker for $50 off the regular price. You can stream all the major music services throughout your house. Sonos is easy to set up and sounds great.

Amazon Echo

Amazon’s Alexa-powered speakers are by far and away the market leader in voice-controlled home speakers. These products, like the Echo, are not just interactive computers they can also control other connected home products like the Eero. You can get the Echo for $40 off and the Dots for $10 off.

Eero

This week it was reported that Apple was stopping development of new wireless router products. Apple’s routers were up until recently the easiest to set up. Now mesh-enabled wireless systems like the eero and Luma have leapt way ahead. The eero has been well-reviewed and they are fast and wicked easy to set up. The best thing is that the 3-pack of eero units are now $100 off. That is a great deal!

Eero

Like Sonos, Bose products rarely go on sale. If you don’t like wearing big noise-cancelling cans on your ears the Bose QuietComfort 20 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones may be for use. The best part is they are $50 off at present.

As noted earlier most of these deals are for a limited time only. We will keep an eye out for additional deals so keep an eye on this space. Get some of your shopping knocked out early! And along the way you can help our mission here at Abnormal Returns.
