“Everybody teaches you how to save, but nobody teaches you how to spend.” – Ramit Sethi

Ramit Sethi was recently on the Meb Faber podcast talking about his new Netflix show ‘How to Get Rich.’ It is in the same vein as his bestselling book I Will Teach You To Be Rich and his own podcast I Will Teach You To Be Rich. All of which are self-recommending.

It’s likely not a coincidence that Sethi’s show drop on tax day in the U.S. Many people are likely bemoaning having to cut a check to Uncle Sam. That only means that in some tangible way you have been successful and most of all, lucky. So it only makes sense you should be as purposeful about spending money on your ‘rich life’ as you are about earning it.

If you are reading this blog post then reading a personal finance book or listening to a podcast is second nature. However for the vast majority of people a well-produced episode on Netflix talking about these topics will have a bigger impact. Here’s hoping that more people are able to use it to learn how to better spend their hard earned money.
