Just to bring everyone up to speed on some goings-on around here.

I recently did a podcast with Jack Forehand and Justin Carbonneau of Validea. We talked about lot of things including content curation and how advisors should think about their own content creation efforts. Video below:

A couple months ago I co-authored a paper with Claude Erb and Prof. Campbell Harvey entitled: “Gold, the Golden Constant, COVID-19, “Massive Passives” and Déjà Vu.” That paper, with some minor revisions, has been accepted as a Viewpoint article in a forthcoming edition of the Financial Analysts Journal.

I was recently reading this excellent post by in-deed-a-bly entitled “First Mover” (via Monevator) and was happy to find a kind mention about Abnormal Returns near the bottom. You should read the whole thing, and will have some further thoughts on the topic at a further date.

ICYMI, I wrote about the 15th anniversary of this very blog. PS, I almost forgot all about it.

Last but not least, if you haven’t already signed up for my weekly advisor-focused newsletter that comes out every Friday you can sign up here. I give these five items a lot of thought and hope that they spark some ideas of your own. And best of all – it’s free!

Stay safe out there and thanks for reading.
